SCHOLARSHIPS

* The following students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2012-2013 academic year: Alexander Dunn of Cape Girardeau received the Regents' Scholarship and Missouri Boys'/Girls' State; Taylor Fodge of Chaffee, Mo., Bethany Holmes and Andrea Mills, both of Oran, Mo., all received the Missouri Leadership Award; Kalena Schubert of Perryville, Mo., received the Regents' Scholarship; Matthew Clinton of Perryville, Mo., received the President's Scholarship; Amanda Lowery of Chaffee received the GED Scholarship.

* Katie Jane Bradshaw of Jackson won the Missouri FFA Home and Community Development Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award at the 84th Missouri FFA Convention.

* Megan Hodges of Cape Girardeau was initiated into the Beta Kappa Chapter of the Rho Chi Society at St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

* The following students have been nominated as National Youth Correspondents for the 2012 Washington Journalism and Media Conference at George Mason University: Jenna Ribbing of Anna, Ill., Richard Ketter of Makanda, Ill., Rachel Birkman of Chaffee, Megan Borneman and Connor Hodge, both of Delta, Alysha Vessells of Chaffee and Dwight Nance of Whitewater.
