SCHOLARSHIPS

Brandon Shemonia

* The following students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2012-2013 academic year: Brooke Baugher of Cape Girardeau, Shelby Fadler of Jackson, Catherine Jackson of Sikeston, Mo., and Caleb Myers of Marquand, Mo., all received the Regents' Scholarship; Emma Leus of Cape Girardeau received the President's Plus Scholarship; Russell Gadberry of Bertrand, Mo., received the GED Scholarship; Erika Medlin of Scott City and Macey Parks of Chaffee, Mo., received the Missouri Leadership Award.

* Brandon Joseph Shemonia of Scott City received an Academic Scholarship to attend Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

HONORS, ACHIEVEMENTS

* Owen Hill of Cape Girardeau was named to the dean's list at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., for the spring 2011 semester.
