The artwork of Meghan Dohogne, a Cape Girardeau native and senior history major at McKendree University, is being featured in an all-student show at the McKendree Gallery of Art in Lebanon, Ill. The exhibition opened Dec. 5 and continues through Dec. 23, with gallery hours by appointment.
The following local students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2014-2015 academic year, according to a university news release:
Anna Beussink of Jackson has received the University Scholarship. Beussink is the daughter of Brian and Staci Beussink of Jackson. She will be a 2014 graduate of Jackson Senior High School in Jackson.
Heather Hogan of Jackson has received the Regents' Scholarship. Hogan is the daughter of Brett and Chris Hogan of Valmeyer, Ill., and Erikka and Steve Sokolowski of Jackson. She will be a 2013 graduate of Jackson Senior High School in Jackson.
Karsen Powers of Cape Girardeau has received the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Powers is the daughter of Tim and Kim Powers of Cape Girardeau. She will be a 2014 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau.
Kelsi Siebert of Cape Girardeau has received the Residence Life Leadership Award. Siebert is the daughter of Gary and Nicole Siebert of Cape Girardeau. She will be a 2014 graduate of Saxony Lutheran High School in Jackson.
