Jerry Ford celebrating 50 years of music
The Cape River Heritage Museum is hosting an exhibit highlighting Jerry Ford's 50 years in music. The exhibit pays tribute to many local organizations Ford and his musical friends help support. Admisson is $2 for adults and $1 for children. All ages are welcome and tours are availible. The event will last from 1 to 5 p.m. A free concert the last Saturday of each month showcases organizations like Southeast Hospital Foundation, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Salvation Army, Cape Girardeau Municipal Band, MDA Telethon and 20 Years with the Jaycee Follies.
Doug Rees previews songs at CD completion party
Doug Rees will have a CD completion party with the reception starting at 7 p.m. and Doug playing around 8 p.m. There will be advance copies of his newly completed CD for sale and attendees can help decide what the cover art will be for the CD. Event not suitable for children and is located at Dockside the Upper Deck.
