Missouri Gun & Knife Show
The Missouri Gun and Knife show puts new and antique weaponry on display. The show will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Show Me Center.
Guardian Angel annual homestyle dinner
Roast beef and gravy, fried chicken, chicken and dressing, and homemade bread will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Knights of Columbus Hall in Oran, Mo. Children 5 and younger eat free. This is a fundraiser for charitable activities.
Spaghetti dinner
Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, Mo., will host a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church parish hall. Donations to benefit the Zion Lutheran Church Tuition Fund will be accepted. Proceeds will be matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The church is south of Perryville, Mo., on U.S. 61.
Regional student art show in Sikeston
The 34th annual high school regional student art show will have a 2 p.m. presentation at Sikeston Depot Museum, 116 W. Malone Ave. in Sikeston, Mo. More than 140 pieces of student art, representing 102 artists from 10 regional high schools, will be displayed till the end of the month. "Instruments of Life," a collection courtesy of the St. Louis Science Center, including medical instruments and medicines from the second half of the 19th century, will also be displayed. Admission is free. Call 475-481-9967. Depot hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Dutch oven cooking
A tasty bonding experience for families featuring Dutch oven cooking will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Nature Center. This Discover Nature Families program is for ages 7 and up and requires registration. Call 290-5218 for more information.
