Old Town Cape hosts parade
Old Town Cape is hosting its 17th annual Parade of Lights beginning at dusk, about 5 p.m., at Capaha Park. The parade will proceed down Broadway to Main Street and end at the Hutson's parking lot. About 100 lighted, musical entries will present this year's theme, "Christmas Carols Come Alive."
Get out of the cold
The City of Cape Girardeau is offering shelter from the cold during today's Parade of Lights Christmas parade. The building to house the Discovery Playhouse children's museum at the corner of Broadway and Middle Street will be open with warm cookies, drinks, chairs and big windows starting at 4 p.m.
Holiday tour at historic Cape home
The Glenn House holiday tour will be from 1 to 4 p.m.
Bethlehem Village of Hope
First Baptist Church of Delta will host a re-creation of Bethlehem. Chili, cookies, hot chocolate and coffee will be available from 5 to 8 p.m.
