GPA: 4.05

Favorite High School Memory: My favorite high school memory would have to be when the girls' basketball team won two district titles along with winning sectionals my senior year. This last season was an amazing moment in my life, and I will never forget it.

Favorite Teacher: My favorite high school teacher is Mrs. Helderman. She taught me my favorite subject for my last two years of high school, math. She made class entertaining and fun while still managing to teach us our lesson. Thanks, Mrs. Helderman!

Role Model: My mom is my role model because she has always been there for me. She has also taught me that when life gets rough, you just have to put one foot in front of the other and keep going on with your life! Thanks, Mom!

Summer Plans: My plans for the summer are to work and save up my money for my trip to Florida. In between all the work I plan to have fun and relax with my friends and family.

What will you miss about High School: I will definitely miss all my friends, teachers, coaches and the whole faculty at Scott City. I've made memories with all of them, and I would like to thank all of them for making my high school experience so much fun.

Advice to Incoming Seniors: High school goes by so fast, and you don't realize it until you're walking across that stage to receive your diploma! Make friends, have fun, work hard and make the most of your high school years. They'll be gone before you know it!

What does your prop say about you: I had a few props that described me. My valedictorian medal is a symbol of how hard of a worker I am and shows what I accomplished in high school. The basketball and softball are symbols of the extra-curricular activities that I participated in throughout my school years. These two sports were highlights of my life, and I will always remember the times I spent playing them.
