Some resolutions are easy. Giving up lima beans or world domination -- no sweat. Some are harder. Picking on your kid brother less or stepping away from the Nacho Cheesier Doritos, well, now that's just crazy talk. Taking in the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament at the Show Me Center last week, many area teens told us they are resolving to ditch resolutions altogether in the new year. But some remain in the resolution game. Here's what they resolve to do in 2011.
"Make better grades."
Jacob Gentry, senior at Cape Girardeau Central High School

Callie Callis, freshman, Cape Girardeau Central High School
"Quit drinking soda."
Macey Parks, junior, Delta High School

Melissa Colyer, junior, Jackson High School
"Do everything I can to get through the year the best that I can."
