Longtime educator Helena Ruhl has been recognized by the Missouri Community College Association for 22 years of service. Ruhl, an accounting and business instructor at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Mo., received a Senior Faculty Service Award at the MCCA convention. This is the first year for the award, which was given to one faculty member from each community college in the MCCA. Ruhl began teaching at Three Rivers in 1987 after building a career in business.
