Several local students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University. Clayton Hester of Millersville, Luke Nolan and Drew Thatcher of Cape Girardeau, Dawson Klinkhardt of Jackson, Anna Sadler of Chaffee, Missouri, and Alicia Sullinger of Advance, Missouri, have received the Regents' Scholarship. Hester, the son of Brian and Amy Hester of Millersville, will be a 2017 graduate of Woodland High School. Nolan, the son of Steve and Laura Nolan of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2017 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. Thatcher, the son of William and Amy Thatcher of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2017 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. Klinkhardt, the son of Gary and Laura Klinkhardt of Jackson, will be a 2017 graduate of Jackson High School. Sadler, the daughter of Mike and Angela Sadler of Chaffee, will be a 2017 graduate of Chaffee High School. Sullinger, the daughter of Bryan and Dana Sullinger of Advance, will be a 2017 graduate of Advance High School.
