Schlimpert - 72 years

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schlimpert of Cape Girardeau will celebrate their 72nd wedding anniversary on April 21.

Schlimpert and the former Wilma Lange were married April 21, 1946, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit. Their attendants were Berniece and Edgar Lorenz.

The couple has two children, Rod Schlimpert of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, and Brenda McCowan of Cape Girardeau, and two grandsons, Michael and Jeffrey McCowan, both of St. Louis.
