"The most interesting thing about the night was when my date picked me up in his
work boots, a fishing hat and sunglasses. He wore that outfit to prom.
I didn't mind though because that's who he is." -- Chelsey Menz
Scott City Senior High School prom was Saturday, March 31, 2007. The seniors voted Caitlan Hester and Luke Rayfield as their prom queen and king. Here's what Scott City students said about the prom:"My favorite part about prom this year was that everyone was dancing. Last year, not that many people danced but this year everyone did and we had fun.
Shopping for my dress was also pretty interesting. They didn't have the size I needed so I had to order the one I wanted. I didn't think it was going to be here by the time prom came but it was." -- Whitney Tapley, junior
"I was excited about going to the prom. I think girls get more excited because they have the make-up, hairs, nails, everything to do. It didn't take me very long at all to get ready for the prom." -- Nathan Corn, senior
"Prom was kind of depressing this year because it was the last one. I got a little teary eyed during it. I have been to prom every year of high school but this year it was special since it was the last one." -- Valerie Gibbons, senior
"I had my dress since the Homecoming dance in October. When I was shopping for my Homecoming dress, I found another one I liked so I bought it for prom. The best part of the night was all the dancing. We did the electric slide, the cha cha dances, it was fun." -- Jana Porch, senior
"You've got to wear the pimp hat with the feather in it to prom. I was the only one wearing one but my date didn't care. We went with a group of people to O'Charley's before prom, and there were a few parties after prom that we went to." -- Keegen Callow, junior
