What is Love?
Is it for others?
Is it for our neighbors,
and our sisters and brothers?
Love is listening
to a babbling brook.
Or dropping down
a fishing hook.
Running in the fields
so green.
Feeling peaceful,
and serene.
Setting under a nice,
green tree.
Feeling a nice
cool 'breeze.
But the true
meaning of love,
Is the love of God,
from above.
How, he gave his
only son, to die for us,
Shows us just
what is true love.
When Jesus was
nailed to that old rugged cross.
And shed his precious
blood for us.
Why is it so hard
for us to get on our knees,
and ask God's forgiveness
and to set us free.
Are we proud?
Are we selfish?
Do we love the world so much,
that we'd lose our life for it?
Do you want to go to Hell,
and be tortured forever?
Do you think this isn't real,
then you better read the Bible.
God loves you so much
and he doesn't want you to die.
He wants you in his loving arms,
in heaven on high.
