What is Love?

Is it for others?

Is it for our neighbors,

and our sisters and brothers?

Love is listening

to a babbling brook.

Or dropping down

a fishing hook.

Running in the fields

so green.

Feeling peaceful,

and serene.

Setting under a nice,

green tree.

Feeling a nice

cool 'breeze.

But the true

meaning of love,

Is the love of God,

from above.

How, he gave his

only son, to die for us,

Shows us just

what is true love.

When Jesus was

nailed to that old rugged cross.

And shed his precious

blood for us.

Why is it so hard

for us to get on our knees,

and ask God's forgiveness

and to set us free.

Are we proud?

Are we selfish?

Do we love the world so much,

that we'd lose our life for it?

Do you want to go to Hell,

and be tortured forever?

Do you think this isn't real,

then you better read the Bible.

God loves you so much

and he doesn't want you to die.

He wants you in his loving arms,

in heaven on high.
