Palmer earns rank of Eagle Scout

Christopher Palmer, 14, completed a service project for the Recreation Complex in Sikeston to help earn his Eagle Scout award. Palmer is a member of Troop 41 chartered by the Kiwanis Club of Sikeston and First United Methodist Church of Sikeston. Palmer constructed 10 benches for the complex, a project that took just over a week to complete. Son of Bill and Julie Ann Palmer, Palmer also is a member of Order of the Arrow, Scouting's national honor society. He has attended National Youth Leadership Training.
