We're already halfway through 2014. How are you doing on your new year's resolutions?
1. Losing that extra 10 pounds: If you drink full-fat, or 2 percent milk, try 1 percent. You should drop some weight from just that.
2. Quitting smoking: Not only is it better for you in the long run healthwise, but it should save you money.
3. Voting: There are August primaries and November mid-term elections with some important state constitutional amendments coming up. If you vote and it doesn't turn out the way you like, you have the right to complain. Are you registered?
4. Eating healthier: I can tell you, I'm not.
5. Managing stress. I'm not doing any better on that one either. Oh well, there's always next year.
