What extracurricular activities were you involved in? Can you tell us a little bit about your experiences?

Throughout high school, I have been involved in French club, journalism, cheerleading, cross country, pep club, band, varsity club, Beta club and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).

Who is your role model, and why?

My mom is definitely my role model. She is the strongest, most hard-working, supportive and intelligent woman I have ever known. She has made me into the person I am today, and I would be very lucky to grow up to be just like her.

My favorite high-school memories are probably all my football/competition cheer practices. They were stressful times, but the friendships and memories that I made I will cherish forever.

What are your plans after graduation? Where do you plan to attend school, and have you decided your major? If so, tell us why you chose that path:

I'll be a full-time student this fall at SEMO, where I've completed 66 college credit hours through the early enrollment program. I plan to earn a bachelor's in psychology, a master's in applied behavioral analysis and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Be ambitious and define success with your own terms. You can reach any goal with enough determination.

In just three words, describe your high-school experience: Gateway to success.
