On Nov. 18, Leo Baumhardt, an in-home service aide through the SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence, lost his home to a fire. Along with his home Baumhardt also lost his beloved pet chihuahua, Cha-chi. After hearing about his loss, SADI reached out to Sonnie Fulkerson at Crown Nissan and Jama Beussink and her sales team at AT&T, and they helped raise money to get a new pet chihuahua for Baumhardt from the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri. Baumhardt and his new pet, Guadalupe, were united on Feb. 5.
