The Saint Francis Healthcare System Foundation and the Saint Francis Auxiliary awarded health-care scholarships to 23 Southeast Missouri students on Aug. 5. Each student received $1,250 in scholarships toward a degree in a health-related profession. Recipients must have completed at least one year in an accredited health-care program, be enrolled currently and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarships went to the following students: Abigail Breite of Cape Girardeau; Danielle Childers of Cape Girardeau; Angela Dickinson of Zalma; Alexis Engelhart of Jackson; Joshua Friess of Jackson; Jenna Hawkins of Portageville; Rachel Hearnes of Charleston; Morgan Hileman of Cape Girardeau; Abigail Kenney of Cape Girardeau; Cody Likens of Cape Girardeau; Brianna Lueders of Cape Girardeau; Anna Miller of Jackson; Stephanie Nanney of Whitewater; Ryan O'Rear of Jackson; Sara Pilsner of Cape Girardeau; Olivia Renner of Jackson; Shea Scholl of Jackson; Morgan Schumer of Cape Girardeau; Ethan Seyer of Oak Ridge; Emma Steffens of Jackson; Dana Thiele of Leopold; Katy Weston of Glen Allen; and Adam Young of New Madrid.
