Local students earn scholarships

The following students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2017-2018 academic year:

Joseph Rice of Frohna, Missouri, was awarded the Residence Life Leadership Award. Rice is the son of Joe and Leslyn Rice of Frohna and will be a 2017 graduate of Perryville High School.

Nathan Peterson of Scott City was awarded the Residence Life Leadership Award. Peterson is the son of Shane and Misty Peterson of Scott City and will be a 2017 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School.
