Air Force Airman 1st Class Jacob M. Adams graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Adams completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Adams is the son of Gerald and Nancy Adams of Jackson. He graduated in 2004 from Jackson High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2008 from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
