Hospital recognized for cancer support

Southeast Missouri Hospital received the Society Award from the American Cancer Society in recognition of its presenting sponsorship of the local Relay for Life event April 25. Relay for Life committee member Peggy Barringer of the hospital's marketing and communications department; Danielle McGuire, community manager of development for the American Cancer Society; Relay for Life committee member, Judy Aslin, director of patient care services at Southeast; and James W. Wente, Southeast Missouri Hospital president and chief executive officerm accepted the award.
