Peeps contain a whole lot of air. Find out what happens when the air is removed not only inside the Peep, but from around it as well.
STEP 1: Place a few Peeps inside of the chamber.
STEP 2: Use the vacuum pumper to remove as much air from the chamber as possible and observe.
The air inside and outside the Peeps is considered a gas. The vacuum pumper removes all the air from around the Peeps, allowing the air inside the Peeps to escape. As this happens, the Peeps expand. Since the vacuum pumper removed the air from inside the Peeps, when the air is returned to the chamber, the Peeps shrink.
