Do you think you will get a lot of candy for Valentine's Day? Science says you can use the candy to do an experiment that will teach you about density.
Materials
* Valentine's Day chocolate candy
* Water
* Transparent container
Instructions
STEP 1: Fill half of the transparent container with water.
STEP 2: Drop the Valentine's Day chocolate candy into the water and observe.
Explanation
Most of the candy will be more dense than the water and sink to the bottom of the transparent container. Some of the candy will be less dense than the water and float. Each piece of the Valentine's Day chocolate candy has different ingredients. Those pieces with a lot of air inside will float.
