Southeast Missouri Hospital and the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association will sponsor a two-day Camp DAY (Diabetes and Youth) for children with diabetes at Main Street Fitness Center in Jackson and nearby Jackson City Park. The camp is in its sixth year and includes children ages 6 to 12. Activities will include crafts, games and bowling, and many of the events will emphasize the basic components of diabetes management. The cost is $35 per child or $30 per child if a family has more than one child attending. For information, call the Generations Resource Center at 651-5825.
