A representative from Southeast's Cardiac Rehabilitation will talk about the latest recommendations for exercise and heart care. n Flu shot clinic: 7 to 10 a.m. at Fitness Plus. There is a fee, and medicare and insurance are not accepted. No appointment is necessary. Call 331-5316 for more information.

• Chronic Disease Self-Management program: 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center's Health and Wellness Center conference room 2. The Southeast Missouri Regional Arthritis Center offers this free, six-week workshop, "Live Like Your Life Depends on It," for adults living with a chronic condition. • Sibling class: 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Generations Center for children ages 4 to 8. Children learn how to hold a baby and help with diapering and feeding. Sibling class graduates receive diplomas. The class is free, but registration is required. Call 651-5825.

Saturday

n Preparation for childbirth class: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center. Comprehensive guide to expected bodily changes, labor signs and stages, pain control techniques and basic infant care. Tips on relaxing, positioning and breathing will also be discussed. • Breast-feeding class: 9 to 10:30 p.m. in the Generations Center. Topics include the benefits and techniques of breast-feeding, family involvement and support. Seating is limited. Register by calling 651-5825.
