The meeting will cover the signs and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, a condition that affects the wrist and hand. It will also cover the causes and treatment options, including the minimally invasive no-stitch endoscopic surgery technique. United Ostomy Association: 4:30 p.m. in the Harrison Room at Southeast Missouri Hospital. "Ostomy Products Available from Hollister." A volunteer organization, UOA's goal is to reduce the practical and emotional burdens of those who have undergone ostomy surgery so they may function as fully as possible, socially and physically. Sibling class: 6 to 8 p.m. in the Generations Center. Discuss and understand what it means to become a big brother or sister. Children learn how to hold a baby and help with diapering and feeding. Refreshments are served, and at the end of the class, sibling class graduates receive diplomas. Pre-registration is required. Call 651-5825 to register.
