• Arthritis education program: 6:30 p.m. in the Saint Francis Health and Wellness Center, conference room 1. The Southeast Missouri Regional Arthritis Center will host "Tips and Products for Living Independently and Driving Safely." To register, call 331-5880 or 888-216-3293.

Wednesday

• Sibling class: 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Wellness Connection at West Park Mall. This class teaches children, ages 5 to 8, what it means to be a big brother or big sister. Children learn how to hold a baby and help with diapering and feeding. Sibling class graduates receive diplomas. To register, call 332-1587.

Saturday

• Childbirth preparation class: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Harrison Room at Southeast Missouri Hospital. This class is intended to ease expectant parents' concerns and give them a positive, confident attitude toward labor and delivery. To register, call 332-1587.
• Free foot screening: 8 a.m. to noon in the Saint Francis Health and Wellness Center. Free consultation to anyone experiencing foot pain. Consultations will last about 10 to 15 minutes and are by appointment only. Call 334-1080 to register.
