Heartland Advanced Practice Nurses Network in Cape Girardeau recently presented a $1,000 check to Saint Francis Medical Center in support of the Saint Francis Institute for Nursing Excellence, a program to strengthen the nursing practice, promote nursing importance and recognize professional nursing achievements. The Heartland Advanced Practice Nurses Network was formed in 1996 to provide nurse practitioners with networking opportunities.
