Brighten My Day, a new program at Style Stop Lifestyles, reinforces the idea that we live in a community that cares about one another. The way it works is any local citizen can nominate another member of the community that's in need of a little tender loving care.
The idea was the created by Style Stop Lifestyles in response to the idea of paying kindnesses forward in a time of economic crunch.
Nominated by Darcy Schaffer of Cape Girardeau, Ericka Boardman chose the gift of a free pedicure given by stylist Sasha Riney. Boardman was nominated because of her involvement in a fatar car accident which has left her feeling depressed. Picked daily, Brighten My Day recipients can choose from a selection of salon services.
