The Lindsay Roth Memorial Endowed Scholarship has been established through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. Roth's friends and Delta Delta Delta sorority sisters made a $5,000 gift to establish the award and continue her legacy. The gift will be matched with an additional $5,000 through the foundation's Honoring Tradition -- Inspiring Success Comprehensive Campaign. The recipient of the scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast with a minimum 3.0 grade-point average who is majoring in education and is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. The University Scholarship Committee in conjunction with the director of Campus Life will select the recipient. Roth graduated from Southeast in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in education with an emphasis in early childhood education in 2010. Originally from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, she returned to her hometown to teach at Bloomsdale Elementary School.
