Two of Community Counseling Center's children's programs received several car and booster safety seats for transporting children to events and services such as psychiatry or outpatient therapy.
The seats, which will be available to CCC caseworkers as needed, were donated by Lynn Ware of the Cape Girardeau Safe Communities Program, the objective of which is to promote community-based solutions to address transportation safety and other injury problems. CCC is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit behavioral health organization, the mission of which is to provide comprehensive behavioral health care services for anyone in need who resides within Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Perry and Ste. Genevieve counties.
