Fish fry at Scott City church

Scott City First Assembly of God will host an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church, 213 Dearborn St. The menu includes fried fish, potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, coffee and tea. Cost is $8.50 for ages 12 and older and $4.50 for ages 6 through 11; there is no charge for those 5 years old and younger. Carry-outs are available for $8.50 each.

Gospel singing in Olive Branch

Trinity Assembly of God in Olive Branch, Illinois, is presenting a free concert with The Bowling Family at 6 p.m. today. The Bowling Family has appeared on the Gaither Homecoming series, concerts and videos, TBN, during Gospel Music Week's Dove Awards, at GMA's Seminar in the Rockies and numerous other major events.
