Presentation held at Old St. Vincents

Lukefahr's Catholic Home Study Servic in Perryville, Mo., offers free correspondence courses on the Catholic faith. Church's music ministry has concert

The Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson will host its annual spring concert at 2:15 p.m. May 2. The adult choir and choristers, the adult and junior Bells of Joy Ringers, the Praise Team and church and local musicians will be featured. Refreshments will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Circus coming to the Show Me Center

The Piccadilly Circus will hold two shows at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Show Me Center. Free children's tickets will be available in area stores and online. Adult tickets to this event range from $27 to $32. For more information and to buy tickets, go to www.TheFunCircus.com.

Spring festival, feast set for May

The Sargents Lutheran Chapel church will host the churches of the North Cape County Alliances spring festival and feast at 4 p.m. May 2. The event will include music, Scripture and an indoor potluck picnic will follow these events. People should bring a picnic item.

Salvation Army offering free meals

The Salvation Army in Cape Girardeau will be serving free meals this week. Meals will be served from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. with carry-out dinners available from 5:30 to 6 p.m. The menu will be Monday: ham, potatoes, green beans; Tuesday: chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, and fruit; Wednesday: spaghetti, green beans and fruit; Thursday: chicken and rice, corn and fruit; Friday: sloppy joes, green beans and fruit. Cake or pie will be the dessert each day.

SADI sponsors town hall meeting

The Washington University School of Medicine Program in Occupational Therapy and SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence are sponsoring a meeting bringing together community members with disabilities from Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Mississippi, Perry and Scott counties to address health care access. The meeting will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the SADI building in Cape Girardeau County. Refreshments will be provided.
