Sibling preparation class

A class to help children prepare, in a positive way, for the addition of a new family member will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday and Feb. 17 in the Harrison Room at Southeast Hospital. The class is geared toward children ages 3 to 9. Class size is limited. Registration is available online at SEhealth.org or by calling 573-331-6190.

Mission fundraiser at St. Paul in Jackson

St. Paul Lutheran Church, 223 W. Adams St. in Jackson, will host a bake sale and rummage sale to raise money for its mission projects. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 7 a.m. to noon Saturday. Merchandise will be half price Friday and 75 percent off on Saturday. Food will be available, and bids will be taken for a new hand-stitched quilt.

Breakfast and bake sale

The St. Joseph Catholic Church men's club breakfast and bake sale will be from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the church hall in Apple Creek, Mo. The breakfast is $7 for adults and $3 for ages 5 through 12; it is free for those younger than 5. The menu includes sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, homemade coffee cake and beverages.
