Early Spring Dance to be held in Delta

The city of Delta will host an Early Spring Dance from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 4, at the Delta Community Center, 211 E. State St. in Delta. Admission for the event is $5 and will include musical entertainment from Leroy & Becky, Kenny Chapman and Don Hester, and Elvis also will make an appearance. Show Me Center to host gun and knife show

The Missouri Gun and Knife Show will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 5; and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the Show Me Center, 1333 N. Sprigg St. in Cape Girardeau. More than 450 vendors will be present. Tickets for the event are $6 and are free for children 10 and younger. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and all firearm regulations will be enforced.

Zonta Club flea market scheduled

The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau will host its annual "Neiman Marcus of Flea Markets" from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 5, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 N. Ellis St. in Cape Girardeau. Coffee and baked goods also will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be used for service projects to help women in Cape Girardeau.

Special needs dinner and auction set

The 10th annual Special Needs Dinner and Silent Auction will be from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Zalma General Baptist Church, Hc 2 Box 202 in Zalma, Missouri. Tickets for the event are $8 for persons 13 and older, $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children younger than 5. The St. Lawrence Catholic Church of New Hamburg, Missouri, will host a spring dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the church, 1017 State Highway A in Benton, Missouri. The meal will cost $9 for adults, $4 for children ages 6 to 12 and will be free for children 5 and younger. The menu will include fried chicken, dressing, chicken and dumplings, buttered potatoes, white beans, slaw, corn, green beans, a drink and dessert. Carryouts will be available.

New Salem United Methodist Church will host a grilled whole-hog pork sausage supper from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the church, 650 State Highway AA in Daisy, Missouri. The meal will cost $9 for persons 13 and older, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and will be free for children 5 and younger. The menu will include grilled whole-hog pork sausage links, buttered potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce, homemade bread, homemade pie and a drink.

Hanover Lutheran Church dinner set

Hanover Lutheran Church will host a fried chicken and kettle beef dinner from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the church, 2949 Perryille Road in Cape Girardeau. The meal will cost $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 11 and will be free for children 5 and younger. The menu will include fried chicken and kettle beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, slaw, bread, dessert and a drink. Carryouts will be available.

Euchre tournament scheduled

The Jackson Knights of Columbus will host its fourth and final euchre tournament at noon Sunday, March 6, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3305 N. High St. in Jackson. Sign-up will be from noon to 1 p.m., and play will begin at 1 p.m. Attendants should bring their own partners. Tickets are $10 and include snacks, soup and prizes. Christian motorcyclists to meet

The Christian Motorcycle Association will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. every second Thursday of the month at Jay's Barbeque, 105 Conrad Ave. in Marble Hill, Missouri.
