Cape Girardeau Dress Barn collects toys

In an effort to make holidays possible for disadvantaged children, the Cape Girardeau Dress Barn is launching its first Toys for Tots drive from Monday through Friday. Customers who donate a new, unwrapped toy will receive a 15 percent coupon off a regular priced item. For more information call 334-8131.

Saint Francis Foundation campaign benefits Healing Garden

The 2008 Saint Francis Foundation Luminaries for Life campaign, ending Dec. 15, benefits patients and families in the Saint Francis Children's Center, Family BirthPlace and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by providing a new Pediatric Healing Garden outside the Medical Center walls. Giving levels start at $10. Luminaries for Life donors are invited to attend A Night of Remembrance at the Tuscan Sun restaurant at Saint Francis Medical Center at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 for a ceremony and reception. Scott City FBLA holds fundraising makeover until Dec. 15

The Scott City FBLA chapter is selling "Glamour Magic" photo makeover sessions, which includes a free 8-by-10 with the paid session, until Dec 15. A ticket must be purchased in order for an appointment to be set. Sessions will be Jan. 9 to 12 at the Scott City High School in Room 25.
