St. Augustine School, 230 S. U.S. 61 in Kelso, Mo., will host a euchre tournament Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and play will start at 7 p.m. For more information, call Brian Ziegler 450-4902.

The Ag Expo Beauty Pageant will be held at the 26th annual Ag Expo 2012 on Saturday at the Black River Coliseum, 301 S. 5th St., Poplar Bluff, Mo. The divisions are Baby Girl, Toddler Girl, Petite Miss, Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Junior Miss and Miss Ag Expo. Three winners will be selected in each division. Queens from last year may not enter the same age division that they have previously won. Contestants are asked to preregister. Preregistration fee is $20. Registration at the door is $25. Children get free gardening lesson

Experience Garden Adventures for Kids from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday. This hands-on event will be held by the Poplar Bluff, Mo., Master Gardeners in the upstairs foyer of the Black River Coliseum. Activities will include propagation, sock caterpillars and pine-cone bird seed feeders. Children will learn from experienced gardeners how they can save seeds from the garden, plant those seeds and care for the young plants. They will create a caterpillar and form a bird feeder for personal use. Parents are invited to come with the children. The gardening lesson is free of charge.
