A Badges Give Back fundraiser will be held all day Monday, Aug. 15, at Buffalo Wild Wings, 2136 William St. in Cape Girardeau. Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10 percent of all bills to Badges Give Back, a first responder-based charity in Cape Girardeau, when the charity is mentioned to the server. Vehicles from the Cape Girardeau Police Department, the Cape Girardeau Fire Department and the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Office will be on site. The Delta R-V School District will have a back to school bash for all students, parents and community members from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at the Delta Elementary School, 124 E. McKinley St. in Delta. The event will include food, drinks, games and live music by Doug Johnson, along with an opportunity for students in kindergarten through 12th grade to meet with their teachers and pick up schedules. An Operation Christmas Child project leader workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 20, at Cape Bible Chapel, 2911 Kage Road in Cape Girardeau. The Granting Grace Foundation will hold a gospel concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Grace United Methodist Church, 521 Caruthers Ave. in Cape Girardeau. A benefit golf tournament for Melaina's Magical Playland will begin with a noon lunch on Friday, Aug. 26, at Kimbeland Country Club, 2175 E. Jackson Blvd. in Jackson.
