Two stars (out of four)

All I have to say about the unrealistic movie "Grindhouse" is wait for the DVD! Quentin Tarantino's latest production (a double feature with one movie directed by Robert Rodriguez, one by Tarantino himself), starring Bruce Willis, Rose McGowan, Jon Voight and Kurt Russell gets two out of four stars from me.

This is a two-part movie with different stories. It is three hours long and highly recommended NOT to take any children to. This movie is rated R (in my opinion it should be NC-17), due to some sexual content, graphic language and the most horrific and graphic violent images (very gory) I have ever seen in any movie! If you like toxic zombies and thrill rides, then this is the movie for you.

One star (out of four)

Let me start out by saying horror is not my favorite movie choice, but this movie was disappointing beyond that.

"Grindhouse" was an attempt to bring back the zombie movies of the past along with double feature films. It is two movies in one. The first movie, a zombie movie, the second more an action film.

The movie is hard to follow at times, leaving the viewer confused. Some of that was purposely done as director Quentin Tarantino, jumping in the storyline as though a movie reel was lost. The attempts at humor aren't well-received because there's too much gruesome violence to be funny and too many attempts at humor to be totally scary. Though some big-name actors are involved, Bruce Willis and Kurt Russell, there just is nothing to make this movie worth the three hours it takes to watch it.

Zero stars (out of four)

If you really want to see this movie, don't waste your money, don't waste your time. Wait until it shows up in the dollar bin at the movie store.
