Oct. 23
- Dig for Life Pink-Out Night: 7 p.m. Houck Field House. Southeast Missouri State University volleyball athletes "dig" for breast cancer prevention, detection and education. Team members secure pledges per dig -- a volleyball term -- which are then tallied throughout all of October's home matches. All ticket proceeds to this game against Eastern Illinois will benefit Dig for Life, and breast cancer survivors will receive a free T-shirt.
- Bosom Buddies: From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at HealthPoint Plaza. This support group is for any woman who is dealing with or has had breast cancer.
- Turning Point: A Series for Breast Cancer Survivors, every Tuesday until Nov. 13, is a monthlong series of programs designed for anyone diagnosed with breast cancer within the past year. Programs will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at HealthPoint Plaza. Call the Generations Center at 651-5825 to register or for more information.
