- Breast cancer support group: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Drury Lodge for the fourth annual American Cancer Society Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and the Pink Ribbon Financial Assistance. To purchase tickets, call the ACS office at 334-9197.

- Dig for Life Pink-Out Night: 7 p.m. Houck Field House. Southeast Missouri State University volleyball athletes "dig" for breast cancer prevention, detection and education. Team members secure pledges per dig -- a volleyball term -- which are then tallied throughout all of October's home matches. All ticket proceeds to this game against Eastern Illinois will benefit Dig for Life, and breast cancer survivors will receive a free T-shirt.
- Bosom Buddies: From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at HealthPoint Plaza. This support group is for any woman who is dealing with or has had breast cancer.
- Turning Point: A Series for Breast Cancer Survivors, every Tuesday until Nov. 13, is a monthlong series of programs designed for anyone diagnosed with breast cancer within the past year. Programs will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at HealthPoint Plaza. Call the Generations Center at 651-5825 to register or for more information.
- Breast Care & Diagnostic Center Open House: From noon to 6 p.m. The Center will open its doors to visitors in October in an effort to better educate women about the detection and treatment of breast cancer.
