What extracurricular activities were you involved in? Can you tell us a little bit about your experiences?

I have been involved with the volleyball and soccer teams, National Honor Society, student council, chamber choir, Future Business Leaders of America and Friends of Education. I have also volunteered with volleyball camps and vacation Bible school.

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my mom. She is always serving others and working hard to make sure people are cared for. She has set this example for me, so this is a quality I strive to have and use in my everyday life.

I don't have a favorite memory in particular, but my favorite memories would have to include all of the times spent laughing, cheering and dancing with my volleyball teammates before games and on team trips.

What are your plans after graduation? Where do you plan to attend school, and have you decided your major? If so, tell us why you chose that path:

I plan to attend Maryville University of St. Louis and study physical therapy. I decided I wanted to help rehabilitate people, especially children, after watching my cousin, who suffered a traumatic brain injury, in physical therapy.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Whatever you do, do it with all of your heart! Working hard and staying true to yourself will make your journey the most enjoyable and rewarding.

In just three words, describe your high-school experience: Peaks and valleys.
