1. It is one of your first identifying attributes. "You know, Sally -- taller, with longer, curly hair." Congratulations! You have curly hair. You will forever be known as the one "with the curly hair." This is a good thing. You are easier to spot in a crowd, and you already look fun, because your hair is fun! Embrace your curly hair and the power it gives you.
2. You (almost) never have a bad hair day. You can do almost anything with curly hair: messy ponytail, messy bun, messy braid, just messy. Anything goes because your hair is permanently styled.
3. Having curly hair, most of the time, means having big hair. Big hair means an easy '80s hairdo when you need it. Curly hair means easy formal up-dos. Big curly hair distracts from bags under your eyes, blemishes, a no-make-up day, etc.
4. Your curly locks are never cut too short. Why? Because you did it once, and decided never again. Hopefully, the cut happened at a young age, and people don't remember the "triangle" haircut or its repercussions.
5. Less maintenance. You never have to wash it! I'm joking. You still need to shampoo your hair, but you can get by without doing it a day or a few. And when you do wash your hair, or even get it wet, it dries curly with little effort. Late for work? No worries. Having curly hair is a timesaver.
