FAYETTE, Missouri -- Central Methodist University has announced Abby Addleman is a member of the Chorale and Conservatory Singers and will participate in performances throughout the 2014-2015 academic year. Addleman is a undeclared major from Cape Girardeau.

The Chorale and the Conservatory Singers are the two main performing choirs on campus. It is the elite touring vocal group of Swinney Conservatory of Music.

In addition to performing on tour, the group will have two home concerts, one on Nov. 2 and one on Dec. 7, in conjunction with the Concert Band and the Conservatory Singers.

The Chorale will also sing with the Conservatory Singers Sunday morning at Linn Memorial United Methodist Church service during Homecoming weekend Oct. 26.

The Conservatory Singers consist of 62 students. Dr. Laura Wiebe, assistant professor of music, leads them. The Conservatory Singers will have two performances this semester, the first Nov. 2 in conjunction with CMU's other mixed choir, Chorale, followed by a joint band and choirs Christmas concert Dec. 7.
