Handbell concert will be held at Grace United Methodist

The handbell choirs of Grace United Methodist Church will present their spring concert at 7 p.m. May 18 in the church sanctuary. It will feature the children's 4 to 4 handbells, the Bells of Grace and the Grace Notes. Admission is free, and everyone is invited.

Immanuel Lutheran to celebrate 50 years

Members of Immanuel Lutheran Church at New Wells will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the dedication of their current house of worship with a special service at 9 a.m., May 18. The worship service will be led by their pastor, the Rev. Walter Patzwitz, and feature special guest speaker the Rev. Dr. Ray Mirly, Missouri District president. Everyone is invited to the special service and is welcome to stay after the service for fellowship and a noon meal.

• 9:30 a.m. Sunday: The Gathering: Contemporary praise and worship with a Bible study for young adults.
• 10:45 a.m. Sunday: the Rev. Mike Shupert continues Extreme Faith with the third in the series "Real Love, a special message for Mother's Day."
• 6:15 p.m. Wednesday: Bible study of Luke 12:35-59 with Dr. Ron Winstead.
• May 16, Parents' Night Out. For children ages 6 months to sixth grade from 6 to 9 p.m. Sign up now by calling the church office at 335-6006.

Mother's Day celebrated at First Pentecostal Church

There will be a special Mother's Day celebration at 11 a.m. Sunday at First Pentecostal Church with singing by The Super Church Choir and Teen Praise, gifts for every mother present. During the 6 p.m. service there will be special music by New Life Tabernacle Ensemble from Bell City.

Revival

• Bible Missionary Church in Cape Girardeau will be in revival May 13 through 18, at 7 p.m. nightly during the week and at 6 p.m. on May 18.
