Airman Mark A. Carver graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Carver completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Carver graduated in 2002 from Cape Girardeau Central High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2007 from Southeast Missouri State University.
