Cape schools to hold kindergarten enrollment

The Cape Girardeau School District kindergarten enrollment and screening for the 2009 to 2010 school year will be from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, March 9, 11 and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, March 10, 12 at 301 North Clark, Cape Girardeau.

To be eligible for kindergarten children must turn 5 on or before July 31, 2009.

Parents should call the Parents as Teachers office at 651-3703 to set up a screening appointment held at 301 North Clark. Screening and enrollment will take about an hour and a half. Bring a copy of your child's shot record, birth certificate, proof of address, child's social security card. The child must be present.
