CAPA scholarship established

The CAPA Endowed Scholarship in Human Resources has been established through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. CAPA -- Cape Area Personnel Association -- made a $5,000 gift to establish the scholarship.

The scholarship is part of the foundation's Honoring Tradition -- Inspiring Success Comprehensive Campaign, which allowed donors to make a minimum commitment of $5,000 to a maximum of $10,000 through donation or pledge that qualified for a $1-for-$1 match. First preference for the scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast who is a CAPA member or HR Redhawk member pursuing a major or minor in human resources. Recipients must have a 3.0 grade point average and financial need.
