Christian entertainment offered at area churches

n Mid-America Teen Challenge presents The New Creations in concert at 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 13 at Campbell First Assembly, 505 Allen Road, Campbell, Mo.

  • The Jackson First General Baptist Youth presents "A Beverly Hillbilly Vacation" dinner theater, at 6:30 p.m. April 11 and 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. April 12.

Vincentian Marian Youth meet at Shrine Church

Vincentian Marian Youth Encounter will meet April 13 at the Shrine Church in Perryville, Mo. The evening will start with a 5-minute Faith Alive at 6 p.m. A Mass featuring contemporary Christian music follows, with the Rev. Joe Williams as the main celebrant. Following that will be food, fun, sharing and laughter. This VMY event is geared for teens and young adults, but all ages are welcome to come.

East Cape Baptist to begin revival services

The East Cape Baptist Church will have revival services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 13 and at 7 p.m. April 14 through 16. Speaker will be Ron Shrum. Music director will be Russell Dillingham.

First Baptist announces the week's events

  • Sunday morning at 9:15 join 'The Gathering' for a time of fellowship, music and Bible study for young adults. Morning worship is at 10:45 a.m., with a special sermon from the "Journey Together" series titled "Encourage."
  • Wednesday at 6:15 p.m., Bible study with Dr. Ron Winstead and Kids' Club with Whitney Thomason.

n Christian Women's Club will meet for a "Prayer Connection" from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau. The meeting is open to the public at no cost.
