Drew Garvey of Jackson was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. His Eagle Scout project included planting 25 bald cypress and white pine trees at the JAOSA Park in Jackson. Drew has been to two of the three High Adventure trips. He went to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico for a 10-day backpacking trek in June 2008.
